The Jackson Heights Art Club has been bringing art to the Queens community for more than 65 years. Since its beginning, the Club has been committed to furthering the knowledge and enjoyment of the visual arts throughout Queens.

Painting Demonstration

Street Scene in Oil

Sunday October 14, 2 PM


The Jackson Heights Art Club will present its Fall painting demonstration this coming Sunday, October 14th at 2 PM.  The demonstration will take place at the Club’s Studios at St. Mark’s Church , 82 Street at 34th Avenue, Jackson Heights, NY. Artist Annie Patt will demonstrate the creation of a street scene in oil paints.   Annie Patt is an artist based in Astoria, NY, working in India ink, oil and printmaking. She studied at The Art Students League of New York and Parsons School of Design, and has a BA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from NYU. Much of her work depicts the urban and industrial areas in New York and her home state of New Jersey. Annie has served as Chairman of the Art Committee at the Salmagundi Club of New York and as a member of the Coast Guard Art Program Committee. She is a member of Allied Artists of America and previously served as Sculpture Director for that organization. She has also taught at the National Academy School. Annie’s website is
